Legal Question in Civil Litigation in India
Employment Bond for 3 years
I signed a 3 years bond in a company. After 3 months, due to long hours (10 to 14 hrs) of work on Computer System, I am suffering from Back ache. I am undergoing treatment for the past one month. The same was informed to my employer. As per Doctor's advise I am taking bed rest.
I am going to resign because of Improper seating, after working hours i.e. 5.30 p.m no pay for that extra hours.
Can they file a case?
Are these types of Employment bonds are legal?
In the Bond they mentioned ''If I leave before 3 years I have pay the 1/4th of my gross salary, suppose for 33 months i.e. Rs.66000/-. They accept this money through cash only.
