Legal Question in Civil Litigation in India
I had entered into a agreement to purchase a land in 2002 but after taking advance money the seller did not take the balance money nor did he transfer the land and notices send to him were returned but later he verbally agreed to transfer and also handed me the possesion of the land and regularly kept on making excuses and now is asking amount which is very higher than the market price and also had send me notice of illegally occupying his land .kindly guide me how should I proceed to get the the land registered.

If u r with written agreement then u can file suit for specific performance and suit for recovery and also u can file civil suit
you may seek restraint order against illegal dispossession and file a suit for specific performance on the agreed consideration. do you have agreement to sell in writing?
