All the properties belonging to a married woman constitute her "istridhan". this includes all her earnings and gifts received from her parents / relatives / friends, husband, in-laws.

as elaborated above, stridhan is the personal property of the girl after marriage and none have a claim on in except teh girl. jewelry given by both the sides viz. the girl and boy are personal property of the girl.
