Legal Question in Civil Litigation in India

False case has been registered on my father u/s 138 of N.I act , my father was the director of the main holiding company, bounced case was in relation to subsidary of the holding company where my father was not the director, my father passed away in August 2010, a letter has been received in my fathers name from lok adalat u/s 138 for cheque bounce case , what is the recourse in this matter, as his only son what do i have to do

Dear Sir,

If you not connected to this company in the nature of director, then you're not responsible for the said things, since companies liablility shall be always limited to the extent of its own shares, or debentures, or debts created by it's own name through operating directors. Hence you're no way connected to any obligations caused by your father, and it's directors as of companies act 1956.
