Legal Question in Civil Litigation in India
my father had 2 wifes the first one does not have any children, the second on has 5 sons and 5 daughters.
my father died in the year 1978 intestate. the property was self acquired by my father. wil the 1985 hindu act will appy for daughters to claim their equal share?

Dear Sir,
If your father died intestate, then self acquired property of your father naturally devolves to the respective heirs with their proper share, and of course daughters can claim their equal share.
