Legal Question in Civil Litigation in India

My friend has filed a money suit against me for recovery of debt taken on 13 years back. I have signed in an empty promissory note 13 years back, now he filled the empty note with a valid date (i.e. 15.12.2008), The court sent summons to me. So in this case can I prove through scientific technology or an export that the signature was put 13 years back? Can I get relief on the grounds that the valid period of 3 years for a promissory note was expired? Please suggest me.

yes, you can pray the court for sending the promissory note to forensic science laboratory to ascertain whether the signatures were put 13 years back or not.

earlier it was mandatory for the press to put its name and date on the back of any form in small font size. check that. The lab can ascertain the life of the paper and ink.
