Legal Question in Civil Litigation in India

Hello,

I am from Bangalore. I hav a personal loan pending in ICICI Bank. In November 2009, the bank offered a settlement of Rs.22,000. But since I was not able to pay that at one shot, I asked for part payments, and they agreed for 5k+5k+12k for three months. So I paid the first instalment of Rs.5000 in November and they mentioned it as part payment in the Reciept. But after that they never contacted me in the subsequent month. And when I called them there was no response from them. I tried to call the executive who collected the first instalment, but his number was not working too. But Now, I had received a summon to appear before Permanent Lok Adalat mentioning a Petition against me by ICICI. It mentions "Recovery of Rs.12,000(Cheque Amount Rs.11,000+Legal Charges Rs.1000) and it does NOT mention about any loan account number or cheque number or anything. It mentions "bring all the supporting documents for your defense." Please help on how to proceed with this. What documents should I take for my defense? and How to defend myself on this? Wat should I do after Going to Permanent Lok Adalat???

Dear Sir,

When you contracted mere loan amount with icici bank @ particular rate interest agreement will bind, icci loan agreement, such credentials, receipt if any, co-laterral surities if any, any installments of loan paid challans, due part notice sent by bankers if any etc., should be taken along with you, if it is lok adalat of court then this is good thing is this ?
