Legal Question in Civil Litigation in India

Hi,

I would like to check that a WILL written on a white paper is valid or not?. My great grand mother was expired and the neghibours snated her finger prints and produce a will on the white paper. It is not registed in the registrar office, is it valid or not?. Location, Andhra Pradesh , India.

Unless you can prove the allegations, only due to non registration it will not be invalid/void if other formalities are done. Copy of Will have to be peruse.

as the grand mother did not know what is written in the will and she was also not literate, the will can be challenged and may be declared invalid.

See if their's two known witnesses signature present in the testamentary instrument or, in will or, otherwise this can be questioned through the Court of Law.
