Legal Question in Civil Litigation in India
Hi,
I have a question that if a person is signing a paper with his own name plate, document is a request to change the name and address for telephone connection to his girl to whom he is getting married. ANd the document says that he is her husband, can this be a legal proof in court of that girl is his wife and how long the document is valid is there any time limit for that document be legal proof.
Please help....

No, one would not become wife merely if a statement has been signed to that effect. If hindu is the religion, saptapadi is required for one to become a wife. Merely on the document relating to telephone department if it is so written, then, that does not become lawful wife.
