Legal Question in Civil Litigation in India
Hi,
My father registered the house where we stay in my name (son) as a gift. he recently had an accident and went through brain surgery. Fortunately, he recovered. unfortunately, he does not remember the fact that he had already registered the current house in my name. He is trying to sell off the house. keeping his health in mind, we have not yet told him that he does not own the house . But he has already started taking actions...It was registered in my name 2 years and 9 months ago. Is there anyway that he could cancel the registration? I am very worried. please let me know.

Your case seems like a creative one. Anyway. If u have not accepted the gift, he may cancel the deed with the said reason. OK dont try to create another one
Is the Gift is complete ? Is there any clause in the Gift Deed which says that he can revoke this gift deed in his life time or is it a revocable gift deed ? Please clarify.
