Legal Question in Civil Litigation in India
Hi,
MY sister has filed a case against me. the case i sgoing on. it is a civil case. she is asking a share inthe property. the property is in my name and i have owned it. i registered it showing low cost, but the agreement value is much more. my sister has got the originals of all the agreements with her.
she came to know that she cannot get anything out of it, that is why she now threatnening me by email that she will produce the originals of the agreement copies in the court> i have already given the proof to the court for the rigistered amount. i have produced the documents also.
And she has made the allegation on me in the email that she has invested the money to buy the land. do i need to respond to the allegation ?
does the original agreement papers becomes the evidence against me.?
If i donot respond to the email will it taken as if i have accepted the allegations?
Pleas erespond

Relax. Your sister cannot claim share in your property. You are getting worried for nothing. What cases has she filed against you ? Please clarify.
in case she has proof that she also invested in the property, then she may claim the share and stay may also be granted against the property. in case she has no proof to this effect, there is no triable issue.
even after showing that u have paid less for registration showing property at low cost she can not get the claim in the property unless she has proof of contribution.
this wuld not surely lead her to win
but if she will complaint for that fraud u have to pay the correct registration charges with penalty
