Legal Question in Civil Litigation in India

I am a Hindu boy from Bihar intending to marry a christian girl from MP. Our parents are ready and we have finalized marriage date of Nov end 2012. Problem is that I am currently in UK and will not be able to return untill 1st Nov to India.

1. Would I still be able to submit form for "Notice of Intended Marriage" under Special Marriage Act 1954? Does it needs my presence while submitting form, or any lawyer/girl's family member can submit the form singed by me.

2. Also, does the form require my permanent residential proof. (Note that I have my passport, but it does not have my permanent/current address)

3. After I return to Indian I have less than 30 days till marriage date. Would I face any issue?

Thanks

DK

as you have less than 30 days, then it may become difficult for you to get the marriage registered. however, you may speak to the lawyer of area concerned.
