Dear Sir / Madam,

Many a times, it has been observed that the seepage is due to broken external drainage pipes which have to be regularly replaced by the Society at their cost since it is covered in the maintainance charges you pay to the Society.

It is recommended you write a letter to the Secretary of the Society requesting them to rectify the fault at the earliest, with a copy to the owner of the flat residing directly above you for information and follow up action.

In case the Society fails to rectify the fault, do it at your cost and deduct the amount from the next maintainence cheque you pay to the Society.

You can mail me for any further on-line advice at [email protected]
