housing society matters

i have instollled split a c out door unit above my house palmet which is provided by builder ,i stay in ground floor ,person staying on first floor above my flat can claim that the place where the unit is kept is belong to him,though the height of palmet is under my house?

You have the right to instal since it is in your building limits.
