Legal Question in Civil Litigation in India

Inheritance

My Grand father died a long back.He survived with two wives.

My father and two other siblings of my father are the children of first wife.

And other wife of my Grand father has more 7 children.

Eldest son of the second wife of my grand father has recently filed a case challenging the sale of the Only property, the house. The implications he made in his notice from his attorney are false. The eldest son who filed case against my father and his other siblings challenging the sale of the house is not allowing the case to come to hearing. His attorney is till now kept on postponing the hearing. He will do that to delay the sale of the property. Please advise how to end this situation and have the property sold.We are selling only the part after making partitions of the house and leaving the partition of the son who put case against us.

I beleive, you can consider settling the matter with him. If he is not cooperative you should consult a local lawyer who would help you in the matter.
