Legal Question in Civil Litigation in India
i am intended to advance a loan to my friend subject to deposit of the title deeds of his immovable property towards security in repayment of the loan and also towards creation of an equitable mortgage. Is the said deposit of title deeds needs to be comulsorily be registered in the city of HYDERABAD?

you need to have a license for mortgaging the property. only financial institutions are allowed to do so and not individuals.
