Does law of adverse possession hold good in agricultural lands,as i have ancestral properties belonging to forefathers and its being till by some one else it is is karnataka...
and what are the various documents required to prove by the defendants that they were in the possession of the suit schedule properties?

Yes, this hold good in respect to agricultural lands, then you have to check the new status of developments in that land and current ownerships. And documents required by the defendants that as you said in respect to their possessions will be the Record of Rights extract (Phahani).
