Legal Question in Civil Litigation in India
If a person or a firm is having a lease aggrement of mahar watan land for years and the goverment extended the lease for 50 years again without giving intimation to the owners the lease was extended for 50 yrs by goverment officers is it legal. and can goverment extend the lease without permission of the owners.

If land is privately owned and belonging to category of Watan land or of any other nature, then Govt granting lease of such land is not legal.
