Legal Question in Civil Litigation in India

A person from outsite Delhi had issued two cheque to me both of them bounced due to insufficient funds.in 1st week of March-10. I am in the process of given legal notice to the defaulter. Can i give single legal notice for both the cases?

in case both the cheques pertain to same financial transaction, you may give single notice, otherwise, you need to send separate notices for each cheque within one month of their dishonour.
