Legal Question in Civil Litigation in India

When a plaint is presented for numbering as a suit, court insists production of original or certified copies of plaint documents. Court is not accepting xerox copies.whether production of original documents is a must.Answer with authorities.

for authorities, you need to retain a lawyer. otherwise, originals may not be required to be filed at the time of presenting the suit.

Dear Sir / Madam,

Procedures specified by the Court will have to be followed. In India, originals of plaint documents duly signed by the plaintiff will have to be presented for suit numbering.

Unless the Originals are produced plaint will not be numbered as per the courts rules & procedure. Regarding authority you can engage a lawyer and get further details.
