Legal Question in Civil Litigation in India
we have purchased a house in july 2008 and sale deed is on my brothers name he stays in US
now we received a lawyer notice that someone came into Agreement of Sale for the property in the year 2006 and they have taken injuction order on the property from court
Now what we have to do should we go the court and respond to the notice and injuction order or else it as to be taken by the seller. there will be any problem to the property.

you may ask your brother to send a duly notarized power of attorney in your favour and then you defend the suit.
Dear Sir,
Since you've mentioned that served notice is pertaining with the prior 'Agreement of Sale', since this was an intial transaction with your actual seller by that person and subsequently your brother has been purchased a house in the year 2008 becomes absolute sale with due registration on part of him, hence you no need to worry.
