Deviations in bye-laws of residential buildings in Bengaluru passed by the Karnataka Appellate Tribunal are permissible and binding on the Society, iff each and every member or at least 90% members of the Society accept the deviation(s) by according their consent in writing in the General Body Meeting of the Society.

Necessary minutes amending and accepting the deviations in the bye-laws require to be recorded and passed.

The Registrar of Co-operative Housing Societies has to be intimated by the Hon. Secretary of the Society in writing within 90 days of the acceptance by the Society of the revised deviations in the bye-laws.
