Legal Question in Civil Litigation in India
Resp. Sirs,
This is regarding Stamp duty payable on documents. I have following queries: -
01. I have entered in to Agreement few years back. It reduced on a simple paper. Is the said document have the force of law with out stamp paper?. If not can I now attach it to a stamp ?
02. Another query is that can we execute the agreement for the period prior to the date of stamp paper?

You cannot execute the agreement for the period prior to the date of stamp paper.
There is a procedure for such documents. Consult your local lawyer.
