Legal Question in Civil Litigation in India
While reviewing a NDA I came across the following, need clarification on the same: One of the clauses stated that the parties will submit to court of Mumbai for any actions, suits, etc relating to the Agreement. Later the agreement also included a clause stating that where there is any dispute or controversy between the parties, the parties may submit dispute to Arbitration to be conducted in accordance with Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. Wanted to know if this is permissible. Pls guide accordingly.
