Legal Question in Civil Litigation in India
Sir, A marriage has been disolved by the Gram Panchayat. Should it be valid? Any custom prevent this in Delhi or NCR?

As per judgement of SC dissolution of Marriage by the Gram Panchayat or any other institution is not valid in the eye of law. The parties must file the divorce petition by mutual consent if both r agreed to be separated. For further details u can call me at 9871158578

Only a competent court of law can tgrant decree of dissolution of marriage. No other institution has power to grant divorce.
