Legal Question in Civil Litigation in India
Hello Sir,
A person living in my locality is harrassing me by abusing. As if I go to Police Station, then they require witness and nobody is ready to give witness. If I record his voice when he abused, can I take legal action against him and lodge a suite under law "Loss of respect". Please advise

Hi,
Write a letter to the said police station, and mark the cc to the commissioner of police/ DG, one copy to the Women welfare organisation. And keep follow up with this people, then you will see the change in few days. Also you can file a defamation case (u/s 499 of IPC) if nothing is working in your favor.
