Legal Question in Civil Litigation in India
In Tamil Nadu, what is the amount court fees to be paid in order to file a review petition against a decree and judgment of a District Court at Chengalpettu. I am defendant to the suit and the suit was decreed by filing a false affidavit on my behalf by the plaintiff impersonating my signature in the affidavit. Will the review petition is enough or do I need to file petition to setaside the decree and Judgment? In any case I need to know what will be the court fee applicable. The plaintiff paid the court fee of Rs. 39,000/-. Do I need to pay half of the amount or full in order to file either review or setting aside petition?
