Legal Question in Civil Litigation in India
Type your question here...my brother bought a land at time of jointfamily after 20years he died by snake bit. he take land in is name.after few years we divid over assets but now my brother son demanding me to leave the land. we cultivate from 15years they sudenly seid so.the land was in my brother name only. what is the solution ?

your only defence is that you claim the property to be joint family property. you may take recourse to Proviso to Section 4 of the benami transaction (prohibition) Act. You can succeeed only on these grounds. One more ground would depend upon the facts and that is adverse possession.
Or else settle down the matter with your nephew.
