Legal Question in Health Care Law in India
My dad's a doctor.A patient was given a particular bill amount to be paid. But the patients insurance company/work company is refusing to cash it saying that the amount is too high.As far as i know its a criminal offence to provide an inflated bill to a patient but that isn't the case.My dad has his own private hospital. The problem is that my dad gave another (reduced) bill to the patient(for his contentment) but later realized that by doing so he ended up being blamed by the company that he does indeed give out inflated bills to patients. The patient seems to have no problem regarding the bill, but its the company thats giving my father nightmares. What can be done to settle this amicably?
I'm sorry if i dont get my facts right.i'm just 17.
Thanks!

your dad may not be able to settle the case with the company but he can defend his stand on inflated bills if the matter goes to court. you may have to contact a lawyer.
