Legal Question in Immigration Law in India

Applying 2H1B through different employer

HI,

I applied 2 H1B through two different employers on Apr 1 2009. I am in India and can you answer my questions?

1. If both are picked up, can I choose one employer?

2. Or should I cancel one petition rightaway?

3. Will there be any question during stamping for applying two H1b?

4. Will there be any legal implication for me or the employer, if I withdraw petition?

Please help me. This is URGENT. Thanks for your help.

The question of picking up would arise only after you are successful in lottery. To avoid any mishap, you may consider retaining one application only or consult a US based attorney for appropriate guidance. You may write me back for a reference of US Attorney, if required.

Re: Applying 2H1B through different employer

The law allows a person to hold more than one H-1b approval at a time. A person may work full time for one H-1b employer and part-time for a second H-1b employer. We are a full service US immigration law firm that handles US immigration matters exclusively. Feel free to contact me directly to review your situation in more detail. Additionally, your US employers may contact me directly also. We can schedule an initial consultation by telephone.
