Divorce & i485 Application
My husband is on H1b visa, i on H4 spouse visa, he divorced me, our divorce was filed in Newyork,Kings Supreme Civil Court, it was uncontested by me, the case status shows case disposed, inMay 2008 and disposition deadline is may 2009, on the site of Web Civil Supreme my husband withdrew my I485 application in july 2008 , the status showed, but i checked in sept 2008, it says case sent for standard interview. My H4 visa is valid till june 2009, i am in india right now.Please help me ? can i enter USA, why the status changed for my I485. Please help me. I was in Newyork, i came to India in April 2008, divorce was filed in Jan 2008. I was in Newyork from nov 2006, have come down to India 3 times since then. Please help me.

You have not mentioned about your stand in the divorce case. Please write your facts clearly in a chronological order - with dates and places. You may write a detailed note and send as attachment with your email.
However, in the given situation, based upon facts you have mentioned in this statement, you may apply for B-1/B-2 visa.
You may also possibly register cases u/s 498-A IPC against your husband in India and supply a copy to the BICS USA cancellation of H1B visa of your husband.
