Legal Question in Immigration Law in India

Doubt about immigrant visa

I'm a registered nurse from India and my greencard processing is on the final stage. Due to certain important personal reasons,if I decide not to go to US and if I donot attend the visa interview, then what will happen ? Is there any legal problem? Since I've passed all the qualifying examinations including NCLEX-RN, in the future, is it possible for me to apply for immigrant visa again ? Or will there be any legal problem in applying for any US visa in future ?

I would advise you to withdraw the visa application.

Re: Doubt about immigrant visa

its better if you withdraw ur visa application instead of getting the same rejected on the grounds of default in appearance. in that situation it would be difficult for you obtaining the visa again.

Re: Doubt about immigrant visa

There should be no legal problem. You should inform the authorities about change in your situation. You may also request seeking extension of time for visa so that you know for sure what you may like to do in future.
