Legal Question in Immigration Law in India
H1-f1-h1
Hi there
I Started to Work in US on a L1 visa, worked for 1 year and then converted that L1 to H1 (under general quota). Now, after having worked on that H1 for 2 years, I'm planning to go to a full-time student status (F1).
Under the circumstances, i would like to know, upon graduation should I apply for fresh h1 (under the quota limit) or can I utilise the same H1 and transfer to a new employer.
Also, should I be able to transfer the existing H1, how long will my H1 be then valid?
Thanks for your help!
