Legal Question in Immigration Law in India

immigrant visa

I'm a registered nurse from India and my greencard processing is on the final stage. Due to certain important personal reasons,if I decide not to go to US and if I donot attend the visa interview, then what will happen ? Is there any legal problem? Since I've passed all the qualifying examinations including NCLEX-RN, in the future, is it possible for me to apply for immigrant visa again ? Or will there be any legal problem in applying for any US visa in future ?

Re: immigrant visa

There is legal bar to change mind. Problem may occur where denial to appear in last stage without any cogent reason, but it is not legal rather conventional.

Re: immigrant visa

There will be no legal problem for applying a visa in future. However, you should inform the US authorities the reasons for your not attending the interview and the change in your situation.
