Legal Question in Immigration Law in India

Hello,

I want to get the information about "U" visa. I got married in Dec 2009 with my NRI husband. But I lived with my husband only for 4 and 1/2 months. He sent me back to India on false background of Medical test. He jsut kept me hanging. I was thinking that he will call me back there soon.

But now six months have been passed, he is not ready to provide me the documents for my H4 visa. He told his parents that, he is not interested in me and he does not want to take me there. I tried to reconcile him with the help of my family, his relatives, his friends. But he does not listen to anybody. As he is in USA, he is simply ignoring us. His father has got the tourist visa. His father and brother are ready to come with me in USA to talk with him. But the problem is that I was there on H4 visa which was expired in may 2010. So now, if I want to go on tourist visa, it will be most critical to explain the situation to USA consulate.

Please let me know, if I can go on "U" visa or on tourist visa. I want to fight with him from here or from there. I want to be prepared for both or multiple options. I want to file complaint against him, I want to punish him, his visa must be cancelled, he must be sent back to India forever. Please let me know how can I go ahead. He had beaten me, abused me, threatened me, tortured me many times when I was there. He is also having physical relations with other Indian and American girls. He must be having family there. Please let me know, how can I find it out. He lives there in Columbus, Indiana. Please please help me and guide me in the right direction. His Green card is in process, so I must take action before he gets the greencard. It would be very nice, if you can provide me and assist me to get the "U" visa.

All the visas you have mentioned in your message have different purposes ie. U visa is for victims of crime , B-1and 2 visas are Business and tourist visa and H-4 is for the spouse of H-1b visa holder. Where did you get married ? i have many questions to ask you and then give you my legal advice with regard to your problems.
