Legal Question in Immigration Law in India
K1Visa
I am a US citizen and would like to sponsor my fiancee on a K1 Visa. However, her divorce proceedings are in progress and the divorce date is Feb-18th, 2003. Can I start the K1 visa processing in January of 2003 since it takes about 2-3 months? This way I can time it right for her to come over to US.
