What would the maximum imposable penalty be for �violating provisions of the FEMA and Customs Act?� Would 1 yr of imprisonment even be a possibility, or are fines the maximum imposable punishment?

you may elaborate the incident where the provisions of FEMA were violated. it may be so that the lawyer builds a good defence for you and you may go scot free or even if found guilty, the punishment may be minimum. come back with details for a conclusive opinion.
