Legal Question in Immigration Law in India
Sir,
I want to know what if a person has acquired citizenship of another country & fraudulently applies for an Indian passport. If he is caught by the Indian authorities then what is the punishment.

There is no dual citizenship in the world only you could get Green card . For example if you are an american citizen (NRI) can apply for OCI card ( Overseas citizenship of India ) this card is like a Green Card. If what you have said then the person would face criminal prosecution and would be deported.
