I want to come to the usa on an H 1 visa and bring my wife on an H 4 visa. What do I need to prove I married my wife. I mean do I have to register my marriage with the registar in mumbai? What documents will I need to bring my wife on an h 4 visa

yes, you need to register your marriage with the Registrar of marriages so that the visa authorities have a proof that you married.
