Legal Question in Insurance Law in India

i met with an major accident on november 2011..i with my vehicle hit a boy who was without any vehicle and i was injured.I was on my two wheeler (according to case filed on me in march 2012) and my vehicle was full insured as on that date.the case is still under process. He claimed some amount on insurance company (iffco tokio).. Now my question is that my vehicle need some maintainencd and the vehicle agency suzuki suggested me to claim insurance company again.for the maintainance charges. Should i make claim. Will it affect the claim the party who already claimed about the major accident.. And make a problem for me.

You should claim from your own company of which your bike is ensured. Its called own damage claim.If they are not giving, serve them a legal notice.
