Legal Question in Insurance Law in India
Nominee. I am separated husband last 14 yrs. Divorce case is a pending in the high court of punjab and harayana. If I take a LIC policy in the name me and make nominee my friend name say Mrs Goel who is widower. Can I make her nominee?

Nominee must not necessarily be the legal heirs only. You can make any one as nominee.Why your divorce petition is pending for so long?
