Legal Question in Intellectual Property in India
Copyright in Patents
This has nothing to do with Indian Intellectual Property Laws.
Is it possible to get Copyright protection for the patent specifications that are required to be filed or have been filed and if so, what is the advantage of holding a Copyright in the specifications?

Re: Copyright in Patents
In India there are separate laws for Copyright as also Patent. The procedure prescribed is also different. Once you apply for patent, protection is available not only for the product but also to the method/design/specifications to make that product.
