Legal Question in Intellectual Property in India
Dear Sir/Mam
We are engaged in trading/manufacturing of games. We are deciding to manufacture a board game comprising of personalities' facts cards containing some rare facts about famous personalities (more than 500 personalities). Such game shall be marketed in India. Data shall be taken from internet & shall not tarnish the image of personality (i.e., information would be totally true & fair, such facts shall not be negative). Do we need to take consent of such personalities or pay royalty to them?
Kindly advise. I would be glad to recieve quick & fair reply.

yes, you need written consent of those players.
