I am a 33-year old house-wife from West-Bengal. My mother has inherited some ancestral property. But on 20-th February my mother was called by her brother regarding the selling of a land. There she was forced to sign a lot of stamped-papers including a blank-paper. Now my mother is feeling helpless. Not know what to do. Can you help?

your mother should file a police complaint saying that she has been forced to sign blank stamp papers. Further she should also intimate the sub- registrar in whose jurisdiction the said land comes asking him not to register any document in respect of the said land . She can also give a paper publication that she has not sold or authorised any person to deal with the said land and hence no person should deal in respect of the same with anybody else other than her.
