In India we have a number of educationl organisations compiling questions of various national level examination such as iitjee, aieee,...etc. Could this work be possibly copyrighted even though this work has brought out by people conducting these examinations.

It is advisable to get copy right in respect of your study material and any special course having special name of the course,so as to protect your interest and to avoid cheating of your materials by any rivalary or cheater.

Yes it is possible to get such compilations copyrighted, even though the work is brought out by the people conducting these examination.
A compilation of data can always be copyrighted, notwithstanding from what ever source the data is procured. But is necessary that the compilation should be a original work.
