Legal Question in Investment Law in India
in india My grand father worked as Agent for Pennar Investment & Co. He gathered clients and made them to deposit of Rs: 25,000/- in the year 2000, and the maturity period was only (2) years and they subsequently matured in 2002, but the company is closed and payments are denied. Now all the clients are claiming on my grand fathers as he was agent for the company. Is my grand father is responsible.

no your grand father is not responsible as he has not acted in personal capacity he acted as a authorised agent so he dont cary any resposibility
