Legal Question in Employment Law in India
1. in a departmental enquiry, the disciplinary authority agrees with the claim of charged officer that the alleged misconduct was committed in good faith. In spite of this, he imposes major penalty of reduction in pay-scale cumulatively. IS NOT UNJUSTIFIED IN THE LIGHT OF GENERAL CLAUSES ACT which treats any act done in good faith immune ?
