Legal Question in Employment Law in India
I appeared for written test and interview of a reputed IT company , based of certain qualification which i meet. I got selected too, but in joining letter there is another criteria which is prohibiting me to join.Its regarding mode of acquiring degree, regular/distance. There is no such thing in eligibility they advertised in paper or on their website.
I want to know , is there any legal action which can be taken ,if they don't select me?? what can i do?

in case it is a private company, you cannot compel them to employ you on this ground.
the court cannot interfere in administrative matters. Your only bet is to first get a certificate from the university as to the fact that recognition level of two is same. May be then, a cause of action arise in your favour
