Legal Question in Employment Law in India
i have availed house building advance from Central Government duly pledging the title deeds and creating an equitable mortagage deed. The entire principal and interest has been fully paid. The concerned authority is insisting for executing a re-conveyance deed to return the documents deposited with the Govt. Is it compelsory to do so? please advise me in this matter.

In case of Equitable mortgage a re convayance is not mandatory. However please clarify as to whether the mortgage deed between you and the Central Govt Authority talks of Tranfer of the property to them? If not, file a RTI Application and enquire from them about their rules regarding mortgage..
