My boss threating me that he going to police complain aginst me

I left my job 3 monts befor .Now i start my own small business with a partner .My boss send a letter to me that data stolen & leak of company information. He thretend me to file police complain unde section it act 2000 section 43(b).He say that i misguide his client but if client come to me by his own disison i cant send client back. What can i do.

You should avoid any wrong-doing; you should better refuse to entertain any old client of the company where you have worked.

I would like to know whether your employer contract had any confidentiality clause. If yes, then you have to be little cautious in dealing with the clients of your old company.

Further, if you are not using the data of your old firm then do not get disturbed by the threat of the your old employer.
